Farm Camp Release of Liability, Waiver, and Assumption of Risk Agreement for Camper

1. Acknowledgment of Risks:
I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian of the child named above, hereby acknowledge and agree that my child’s participation in a farm camp may involve certain risks, dangers, and hazards that could result in injury, illness, or even death. These risks include, but are not limited to, interacting with livestock, riding horses, handling farm equipment, exposure to farm animals, and the physical demands of outdoor activities. I understand that while the camp staff will take reasonable precautions, these risks cannot be entirely eliminated.

2. Assumption of Risk:
I voluntarily allow my child to participate in the farm camp despite the inherent risks involved. By signing this document, I fully accept and assume all risks associated with my child's participation in the camp. I also acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure my child is physically and emotionally able to participate in the camp activities.

3. Release of Liability:
In consideration for my child being allowed to participate in the farm camp, I, for myself (and for my child, as the legal guardian), my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Farm Camp Name, its owners, operators, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates, from any and all liability for any injury, death, illness, property damage, or loss arising from or related to my child's participation in the camp, whether caused by the negligence of the camp or otherwise.

4. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the camp, its employees, agents, and volunteers from any claims, demands, losses, or damages, including legal costs and attorney’s fees, arising out of my child's participation in the camp or any incident involving my child’s actions or behavior during camp activities.

5. Medical Treatment:
In the event of an emergency, I consent to the camp staff seeking medical treatment for my child and agree to bear the costs of such treatment. I understand that the camp does not provide medical insurance, and I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred. I also affirm that my child does not have any medical condition that would restrict participation in camp activities, unless otherwise disclosed in writing to the camp.

6. Media Consent:
I consent to the use of any photographs, video recordings, or other media taken during the camp for promotional or educational purposes by the farm camp. I understand that my child’s image or likeness may be used in such media, and I agree that I will not receive compensation for such use.

7. Governing Law:
This Release of Liability and Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where the farm camp is located, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles.

8. Agreement:
I affirm that I am the legal guardian of the child named above and that I have read this entire agreement carefully. I fully understand its contents and voluntarily sign this Release of Liability on behalf of my child.
